Without access to information in real-time, such organizations had to trust their agents blindly.

This has helped several companies make better and more informed decisions while also helping them improve productivity. 

We are fortunate to have interviewed Mr. Bharath Annamalai, the Founder & CEO of Lystloc, and learn about his journey, values, and vision for the future.

A warm welcome from SoftwareSuggest Mr. Bharath Annamalai. Our readers are keen to know what prompted you to create Lystloc? Tell us about your journey so far.

Lystloc was born out of our own need to measure the productivity of the workforce who are on-field. We wanted to make decisions based on real-time location data rather than based on assumptions. We wanted to create an application that can solve real-time problems and provide data insights for strategic action items.

What is your success formula? Something you have followed personally that has helped you in your personal and professional journey.

My success formula is to “Try”. In my experience, if you try with conviction 9 out of 10 times, you would succeed.

What was the biggest challenge that you faced while working towards Lystloc’s growth, especially in this Covid-19 Pandemic, and how did you overcome it in this new normal?

We positioned ourselves very well for a growth spurt in May 2020. Covid took away all the opportunities we created. We lost revenue almost to Nil. But we overcame this period by utilizing the downtime to improve product performance and scalability, which we couldn’t do due to busy customer acquisition and support activity.

What separates Lystloc from its competitors?

We are a customer-obsessed company solving real-time problems for our customers. Having solutions for real-time tactical decisioning and data insights on demand for strategic decisioning is very unique in Lystloc. In fact, it is very unique in SaaS products across the globe.

How do you see the company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?

I see the company change more into an AI and data-driven company to reduce Infrastructure and support costs and increase in-app performance and customer happiness.

What new and exciting updates can we expect from Lystloc in the near future?

We are working towards achieving self-sustainability for our operational and capital costs. By adding one lakh end users to the platform, we would achieve the milestone very strong and sound. We are excited in this phase of our journey, especially as a bootstrapped product company from India!
